SUTHERLAND FAW MEETINGS
Writing can be an isolated, lonely pursuit. If you're looking for support and encouragement from other writers, then come along to see if it's what you're looking for.
Our meeting structure varies from month to month. We often invite guest speakers to share their knowledge. They run writing exercises and workshops, and sometimes there are open mic sessions, when members get to share their writing.
Following afternoon tea, which members take it in turns to provide, we take care of official business for the last half-an-hour. This includes members sharing their latest submissions and achievements.
Members also collaborate to jointly create anthologies, which are self-published and sold. The fifth anthology ‘Living Dangerously’ was published on the 22nd November, 2025.
HOW MUCH?
$10 to attend your first meeting with no obligation to join.
