THE WRITERS UNLEASHED Festival

The Festival will once again be run and will be held on Saturday 19th September 2026. So please make a note in your diary and stay in touch, with further details to appear closer to the date.

Writers Unleashed is an entirely volunteer-run festival. We have kept our festival running without the aid of arts or government funding or significant sponsorship, fuelled by coffee, passion, and friendship.

To ensure the long-term financial viability of the festival, and to avoid the burnout of our dedicated volunteer team, we have made the decision to convert the festival to a biennial event.
